Prince Harry and Meghan branded ‘D-list and too poor for Hollywood life’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are deemed 'D-list' and too poor for Hollywood life, according to a royal biographer.
Former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown described the Sussexes' Montecito home as a "humble cottage" compared to their celebrity pals.
The royal biographer, who was responding to reports the pair had gone house-hunting, said the couple "didn't have enough money" when compared to the super-rich A-listers who have made California their home.

Ms Brown also joked that "Elon Musk is still single" if the duchess wanted to trade up to the tycoon worth a whopping £193billion.
While to most it's not exactly a pokey little crib, the Sussexes' nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion certainly pales in comparison to other celebs based in the Golden State.
Their neighbour Oprah Winfrey's Promised Land estate is worth an incredible $100m (£90.4m), while Jay Z and Beyoncé's mansion in Bel Air on the westside of Los Angeles weighs in at $88m (79.5m).

California's other expensive celebrity homes include those belonging to Maroon 5's Adam Levine – $52m (£47m), Kylie Jenner – $36.5m (£33m) and Ellen DeGeneres – $21m (£19m).
Meanwhile, actor Tyler Perry has a $18m (£16.3m) home where he hosted the Sussexes when they first moved to the US.
According to local reports, Meghan has been shopping for a "private estate" in Hope Ranch, a high-end community a few miles from their current home.
Speaking at the Henley Literary Festival, Brown said: "It's not very pleasant to be a D-list celebrity who, for them, doesn't have enough money.
"It's a wholly different game to be with those super-rich people.
"In Montecito, where they live, their $14million mansion is a humble cottage compared to what these other people have."
The royal biographer, author of The Diana Chronicles and The Palace Papers, quipped: "Yes, and at some point it might be more than a new house she's looking for," before adding: "Elon Musk is still single, that's all I have to say."
