Royal fans spot South Park jibe at Meghan Markle with Kate Middleton reference
Eagle-eyed Royal Family fans spotted a subtle South Park jibe at Meghan Markle in the US cartoon show's parody episode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Kate Middleton-related taunt came in the comedy's Worldwide Privacy Tour episode, in which the Prince and Princess of Canada (characters modelled on Harry and Meghan) take part in TV interviews and let off fireworks in a demand for privacy.
In one sequence, the couple plaster the house of one of the show's central characters, Kyle, with magazine front covers and watch his response from afar.

One of the covers is a copy of Kate's front-page photoshoot for Vogue's 100th anniversary issue but, instead of the Princess of Wales, the parody of Meghan has replaced her sister-in-law, dressed in the same clothes.
The scene appears to be a reference to the regular digs directed at Meghan that she mimics Kate's style – slurs that began pretty much from the early days of her relationship with Harry .
While the joke might have gone over the head of some viewers, it was appreciated by many Buckingham Palace fans and critics alike.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "LMAO even in South Park Meghan copies Catherine", while a second added: "The attention to detail is just perfection!"
And a third commented: "Wow. They left no pages unturned. Brilliant!!!!!!"

Some did defend Meghan from the derision, however, arguing that the supposed style infatuation was the "other way round".
A supporter of the 41-year-old former actress argued: "It is always the other way round – #Kate always dressed like an overgrown schoolkid – #Meghan even looked stylish when she was pregnant whereas #Kate wore tents. She is still copying her look from 3 years ago. #LazyKatie."
Among other clips in the episode, Harry and Meghan promote their "new book" called Waagh on Good Morning Canada with the latter's character insisting: "We just want to be normal people. All this attention is so hard."
Soon after the episode aired last week, a spokesperson rubbished rumours that the Sussexes were planning on suing South Park over their depiction.
The representative said: "It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports."
