Women filmed brawling outside club on Mother’s Day as one screams ‘get off her’

A viral video has captured the moment a group of women were seen brawling in the street outside of a nightclub on Mother's Day.

The video, which has been viewed by thousands on social media, shows a group of women fighting on Jamaica Street, in the Baltic Triangle, on March 19.

In the clip, the group of around 10 lasses were heard arguing before one woman, wearing a pink shirt, stumbles and falls backwards.

Others moved towards her but another in an orange blouse begins to hit her prompting one woman to scream "get off her."

The man filming the incident can be heard laughing and saying "happy Mother's Day" to a boy next to him.

A number of women can also be heard screaming "get off" as the fight carries on, Liverpool Echo reports.

One person who shared the video wrote: "A few extensions being pulled out at the Camp and Furnace. Happy Mother's Day."

Another tweeted: "Mother’s be mothering on Mother's Day."

A third commented: "Just a Mother’s Day afternoon and everyone enjoying themselves."

Merseyside Police have confirmed a report was received of an altercation in at 3.20pm on March 19 and they are continuing to investigate the incident.

The news comes after four-man brawl at a Merseyside gym left one man requiring hospital treatment for a head injury.

Police were called to reports of a fistfight at a branch of Everlast Gym in Aintree, Merseyside, at around 10.25am yesterday morning (February 28).

Footage obtained by Liverpool Echo showed the moment the scuffle broke out as two burly pairs of men squared up around the free weights and cycling machines before they started throwing punches.

One man seemed to scarper, followed by another who then returned to the remaining two who were still fighting and punched one of them at least three times.
