Three shootings and a stabbing reported overnight in Denver

Overnight Friday in Denver police responded to three shootings and a stabbing in the city.

The stabbing happened at East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street, according to a 2:11 a.m. Saturday Twitter post by police. The victim, a man, was taken to a local hospital. No arrest was made and investigators are working on the case.

One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting near East 40th Avenue and Steele Street, police said on Twitter at 2:40 a.m. There was no initial arrest.

A man was shot in the area of West Mississippi Avenue and Tejon Street, police said in a 4:18 a.m. tweet. He was taken to a local hospital. Police have not made an arrest in the case.

Police are investigating a shooting in the 1200 block of Yosemite Street. The victim, a man, was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, police said at 4:43 a.m. No arrest was made.

A homicide investigation is ongoing from a Thursday incident in the 1400 block of Yosemite Street.
