Tragic final words to Cameron Robbins as high school grad vanished into 'shark-infested' waters while on sunset cruise | The Sun
A VIRAL video has revealed the tragic finals words said before a high school grad went missing while on holiday.
Cameron Robbins, 18, was last seen swimming in "shark-infested" waters in the Bahamas, on May 24, according to officials.
The Louisiana teen was on Blackbeard’s Revenge sunset cruise with several hundred other students after graduating from Baton Rouge’s University Laboratory School just three days earlier.
Robbins reportedly jumped overboard around 11:30pm near the uninhabited Athol Island.
The video ends as Robbins swims away from a life preserved with lots of yelling in the background, according to Live Fox Now.
One person shouted: “Oh my f***ing god! Oh, shut the f*** up. Oh bye, bye.”
The other bystanders are then taken over by panic while they screamed to Robbins to grab the buoy.
People on social media have speculated that Robbins may have been attacked by a shark just as someone said “Oh bye, bye,” on the video.
Some officials and bystanders believed that the teen could have been the victim of a shark attack.
Commodore Raymond King of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) confirmed the area Robbins was swimming is shark infested, according to the Mail Online.

This viral video has been edited by many people online to pin the moment Robbins may have been attacked, however, the video is too dark and of low quality.
Other efforts to work out what happened to Robbins include social media users pointing out eerie footage of Robbins in the water.
In a video posted on social media, Twitter viewers pointed out a reflection near the hull of the boat that they suspected to be a shark.
One Twitter user said: “Haunting, but you can see the exact moment the shark gets him,” according to The New York Post.
The U.S. Coast Guard announced on May 26 that is ended its search-and-rescue efforts with the RBDF.
Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Spado, Coast Guard liaison officer to the Bahamas said: “Our Coast Guard command center and aircrews based in Miami supported RBDF search and rescue efforts since the initial report Wednesday evening, and continued through Friday evening.
“We were informed by the RBDF this evening that they were suspending the active search efforts pending further developments.”
Robbins' family has released a statement after this news.
They said: "The Bahamas government has called off the rescue for Cameron, and we are returning to Baton Rouge.
"We want to thank the Bahamas government, the U.S. Coast Guard, the United Cajun Navy and Congressman Garret Graves for everything they have done for us.
"In this time of grief, we thank our family, friends, and well-wishers for granting us the privacy we need to properly remember our son and mourn his loss."

Robbins was a star baseball player in Baton Rouge.
A memorial service was held for Robbins on May 28 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Baton Rouge.
