CTTV from ‘gang rape’ of British girls in Italy shows men pushing girl

Shocking CCTV appears to show a man restrain a girl before two British teenagers were allegedly beaten and raped at a party in Marconia di Pisticci, southern Italy.

In the clip, released by the police in Italy, one of the girls is pushed by a group of males through a courtyard and towards a dark corner behind the villa.

What appears to be a small dog is running around the group.

The attack was said to have occurred on Monday, September 7, at around midnight.

"The two victims were reportedly approached by two young men who seemed to have taken advantage of their physical state, possibly due to alcohol," Pietro Argentino, a public prosecutor in the nearby city of Matera, told AGI news agency.

He added: "Two others arrived later and the rapes happened in a field next to the villa."

A house party was being held in the villa at the time and the suspects were reportedly gatecrashers who gained the trust of the underage girls, according to Mail Online.

The alleged victims are both said to be aged 15 and reported the attack to their parents, who then took them to hospital.

Four men have been arrested in Matera, southern Italy, all aged between 19 and 23 years old.

A further four men are suspected to also be involved.

In a statement, police said: "On the night between 7-8 September, in Marconia di Pisticci, sexual violence was committed against two foreign minors who were at a party in a villa.

"The investigative unit of Matera police headquarters has begun investigations in coordination with the public prosecutor's office."
