Man accused of killing missing mum-of-two Alexandra Morgan denies murdering second woman who also vanished
A MAN today denied murdering a missing woman six months before he allegedly killed a mum and burned her body.
Mark Brown, 40, is accused of killing Alexandra Morgan, who was last seen at a petrol station near Cranbrook, Kent, on November 14.
He is also charged with murdering Leah Ware, 33, who disappeared in May in the Hastings area like Alexandra.
Brown today pleaded not guilty to the murder of Leah, whose body has not been found, when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court.
The court heard Brown does not accept she is dead and therefore denies her murder.
Brown previously pleaded not guilty to murdering Alexandra, whose remains have been discovered.

He admits the mum-of-two died in an accident and he tried disposing of her body using fire, it is said.
Brown was remanded in custody ahead of a trial on October 17.
Leah, who had health issues, was reported missing in May with police confirming her disappearance was "out of character".
Six months later, dog groomer Alexandra disappeared.

Like Leah, the mum-of-two had not been in contact with her family and both women had the same build, height and hair colour.
A huge search was launched for Alexandra and her Mini was later recovered by police.
The car was seen making journeys between her home in Sissinghurst, Kent, and towards the Hastings area of East Sussex on November 14 and 15.
Petrol station manager Rose McAuley, 32, a friend of Ms Morgan's, served her when she topped up with £10-worth of fuel and bought coffee and a snack on the morning of her disappearance.
She said of the last time she saw her friend of 17 years: “She was more done up than I’ve ever seen her before.
“And she came in very early in the morning which was unlike her.”
Senior Investigating Officers DCI Neil Kimber, of Kent Police, and DCI Andy Wolstenholme, from Sussex Police, said in a joint statement: "Our thoughts are with the families of both Alexandra and Leah at this difficult time.
"Whilst we have located the remains of Alexandra we have yet to find Leah and our investigations remain ongoing.
"‘We understand the impact that this may have in our communities.
