Meghan Markle ‘urges Harry not to add fuel to fire’ at Diana statue unveiling

Meghan Markle will be urging Prince Harry "not to add fuel to the fire" amid the ongoing Royal Family drama during his trip back to the UK this week.

The Duke of Sussex has returned to London to unveil a statue of his late mum Princess Diana, which he will do alongside his brother Prince William on Thursday.

The unveiling of Princess Diana's statue will take place in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, believed to be the late Princess of Wales' favourite spot at her London residence.

It will be the first time Prince Harry and Prince William have seen each other since April 17, when they both attended the funeral of their grandad Prince Philip.

Following Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle's bombshell interview earlier this year with Oprah Winfrey the brothers are reported to have fallen out.

And now, Tina Wilson, relationship guru and founder of Wingman has told the Daily Star that Harry's wife Meghan will be supporting him through his visit to the UK despite staying in the US to look after their two children Archie, 2, and newborn Lilibet.

Tina said: "Meghan will likely be telling him to remain calm around his family because of the ongoing dramas and to try and focus on honouring his mother to not add further fuel to the fire on this particular day.

"The royals have shown exceptional class and grace towards Harry, when he attended his grandfather's funeral, and this event will not be any exception.

"Regardless of the arguments and mud-slinging that both Meghan and Harry have thrown, it cannot be ignored that Harry is part of the family and those ties cannot be broken."

The ceremony was announced last summer in a rare joint statement issued by the brothers.

It read: "The statue that Prince William and Prince Harry have commissioned to commemorate their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, will be installed next year on what would have been her 60th Birthday.

"The statue was commissioned to mark the 20th anniversary of her death and recognise her positive impact in the UK and around the world.

"The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on 1st July 2021, marking the Princess’s 60th birthday.

"The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy."

The Daily Star has contacted Harry and Meghan's Archewell representative for comment.
