Meghan wears £2,400 necklaces in tribute to Lilibet and Archie in birthday clip

Meghan Markle's secret tribute to her daughter Lilibet Diana was picked up by fans in her latest appearance.

The Duchess of Sussex released a video to mark her 40th birthday where she shat in her chic study and spoke with comedian Melissa McCarthy.

In the clip, the 40-year-old wore two necklaces around her neck which had a connection to both Archie, two, and newborn Lilibet Diana.

Archie, who was born on May 6, 2019, and Lilibet, who was welcomed into the world on June 4 this year, made an unexpected appearance.

The chains around the Duchess' neck, estimated to be valued at around £2,400, featured the star sign constellations of her two children.

Archie is a Taurus and Lilibet a Gemini.

Prince Harry and Meghan are yet to share an official photo of the bundle of joy, but fans were excited by the touching tribute in the brief glimpse yesterday.

Both of the necklaces are believed to be from the brand Logan Hollowell, retail at £1,149 and £1,282, with a grand total of £2,432.

Eagled-eyed Royal followers also picked up on a set of three photos on Meghan's desk, with fans convinced one of the pictures included a photo of doting dad Harry with Lilibet.

The silver frames appear to show a baby being cradled in the arms of a man – presumed to be the Duke of Sussex.

Although, the photo is out of focus and is hard to determine.

Other fan theories suggest the youngster could be Archie, who also features in a larger frame on the desk.

The Sussex royal released the video to honour her birthday on August 3 and called on her Hollywood pals to join her mentorship programme.

One person wrote: “I like to think that on the three photos joined the one in the middle is a photo of Harry holding Lili.”

Someone else said: "Looks like photo 1 is Archie, 2 Meghan and Harry, 3 Harry holding Lili about to give her a kiss and 4 Meg or Doria holding Archie."

Earlier in the day, the Queen, William and Kate wished the duchess a happy birthday.

The Queen's Twitter account posted: “Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!”

Prince William and Kate Middleton tweeted: “Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!”

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camilla penned: “Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday.”
