Mum-of-one, 25, dies suddenly as pals pay tribute to 'pure and caring soul'
PALS have paid tribute to a "pure and caring soul" after a young mum died suddenly over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Jess Ross, 25, from Edinburgh, sadly passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29, leaving behind her young son.
Her cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Friends of the mum-of-one remembered her as a "beautiful soul" with a "big heart" after the tragic news broke.
A loved one shared a string of pictures of her and Jess alongside a poignant social media post.
"I am so lost for words right now. You were such a pure, caring, genuine soul.
"Your heart was so big and I was lucky to call you my best friend. I promise to do you proud and push through each day for you.
"I miss you so much, you will always have a special place in my heart. I will be there for Char while he grows up and remind him of how amazing his Mum really was!
"You will be with me forever Jess Ross thank you for being the best friend a girl could ever need! I love you with all my heart.
"Rest in peace beautiful girl, until we meet again."
The 25-year-old was described as a "beautiful soul" by other mourners who shared their condolences on Facebook.
Another wrote: "Absolutely heartbroken to get the news I got this morning. I don’t want to believe it. I can’t get my head round it at all.

"Growing up with her as a next-door neighbour was certainly not a quiet one but it allowed us to be quite close, always in and out of one another’s houses when we were younger.
"I’ll always remember the days spent out at the Safari park, Football, M&D’s, the family parties and many other things we got up to.
"The world is a cruel place but you’re at peace now. Rest Easy my pal miss you."
