Royal fans’ fury as ‘low-profile’ Harry and Meghan moment caught on camera

Royal fans are raging after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "low profile" appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee was upended by a very public moment.

Infuriated Twitter users claim that moments throughout the royal festivities so far this Jubilee weekend have upended the "low profile" the Sussexes were hoping to have as the Queen celebrates 70 years on the throne.

One moment in particular has caused a new wave of social media outrage, with the Sussexes cracking the car window so fans could see inside.

A beaming Meghan was visible alongside husband Harry as the pair were spotted on their way to the first day of Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

One Twitter user questioned the image and the "low profile" desires of the Sussexes, saying: "Why then did they wind their car windows down whilst they were being driven through the crowds?

"Could it be the publicity hungry actress wanted to be spotted?"

Another user alleged the royal couple would "take advantage of other opportunities" for publicity over the next few days of the Jubilee celebrations.

A third criticised beaming Meghan for her appearances in the car and for shushing a group of children during the Trooping the Colour.

The user claimed: "…yesterday winding the window down grinning like a Cheshire cat and then with the nicey nice to the children because the adults wouldn't talk to her all at the window knowing the cameras would be watching."

Another fuming Twitter user wrote: "Pair of them managed to be in a window just at the right time then! Low profile and these two don't belong in same sentence!"

The criticism launched at the Sussexes comes as royal expert Omid Scobie claimed audiences "didn't really catch sight" of the pair during the Trooping the Colour event.

Speaking to GBNews, Scobie said: "They want to be as low-profile as possible during this trip. It's almost hard to believe, but I think yesterday Trooping the Colour was a great example."
