US Navy officer claims fresh sighting of ‘Tic Tac’ UFO which ‘collapsed’
A former US Navy officer has described seeing an underwater UFO similar to the famous white "Tic Tac" spotted by fighter pilots.
John Baughman said he was looking at sea during a break on the USS Carl Vinson in January 2010 during an aid mission to Haiti.
The former Gunner's Mate told Medium.com: “I was staring into the water from above when a large, fat, white ’Tic Tac’ object, approximately twenty feet in length, suddenly appeared in my view below me, moving right and darted into the depths as fast as it appeared.
"I couldn’t really comprehend what I saw. It was definitely a solid object, but when it descended, its forward end rapidly collapsed in on itself and disappeared.”
The ship is the US Navy's third Nimitz-class supercarrier and the ship off which Osama Bin Laden's body was buried at sea.
He said his supervisor told him that "everyone sees weird sh*t in the ocean".
“I’d often see all kinds of wild stuff swimming and floating under and on the surface.
“Everything from sharks, dolphins and whales to giant squids, sea turtles, and swordfish.
“I had a pretty good reference point on how big or deep something was in the water, especially when you can see the water line on the side of the ship."
UFO witness demands apology after bombshell Pentagon report doesn't rule out aliens
He continued: “It could have been just about anything.
“Rapidly moving flotsam with a keen ability to completely disappear, very large albino shark or an albino whale. Could even be an optical illusion, but it cast its own shadow and that’s how I was able to perceive it as a solid object.”
He decided to come forward after footage of the 2004 USS Nimitz tic tac UFO was released in 2017 – before being confirmed as authentic by the Pentagon.
Pentagon UFO report admits unexplained fliers 'pose security threat' and could be weapon
He said: “It’s hard to come to grips with something like this, and I still feel somewhat insecure about it because it doesn’t make sense. But at the same time, more data points, even as basic as my story, could help solve the mystery of whether they’re foreign adversaries playing mind games, non-human entities, or the myriad of other possibilities.”

The 2004 incident was one of the bombshell videos to be released in 2017 in the wake of a New York Times report that the US government had a special programme to track UFOs.
The clip showed a tic-tac shaped UFO – officially recognised as an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) – flying in front of the camera and performing manoeuvres never seen before.
The Pentagon recently refused to rule out the possibility that 144 UFOs were extra-terrestrial in a report into UAP.
Experts say advanced technology from foreign powers could also be behind sightings.
