Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's have sparked festive joy for royal fans with their 2021 Christmas card.

The card shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with Lilibet and her big brother Archie posing with beaming smiles for a lovely family portrait.

Royal fans have been gushing over the portrait all over Twitter – with five key features sparking most of the commentary.

Lilibet's first appearance

Harry and Meghan have chosen the festive season to show their daughter to the world.

Royal fans have waited all year to get a glimpse of Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor after she was born on June 4 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

However, expert Neil Sean predicted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would use a photo of Lilibet on their Christmas card.

The release of a photo of Lilibet on the card would be for “maximum impact” – and judging by the overwhelming response on social media, it made a huge impact as fans gushed over the shot.

Ginger kids

  • Royal fans all saying same thing after seeing Lilibet's hair on new 'Holidays' card

Twitter users were left gushing over the children's ginger locks as they pointed out that Lilibet and Archie resemble Prince Harry.

They joked that Meghan will spend the rest of her life surrounded by gingers, something which they appear to absolutely love.

Someone wrote: "FIRST PICTURE OF LILIBET DIANA THAT WE HAVE THROUGH THEIR CHRISTMAS CARD I’M ACTUALLY EMOTIONAL"

Another commented: "And they all have red hair except for Meghan"

They were not alone in spotting the reddish colour of Lilibet's hair, someone else said: "THEY’RE ALL GINGERS"

Prince Harry goes barefoot… again

  • Royal fans puzzled by Harry and Meghan's donation to Montecito ‘borderline trashy’ event

While the Duchess of Sussex is seen wearing nude coloured shoes, Prince Harry and the children were seen barefoot for the occasion.

But this isn't the first time we have seen the Duke's toes.

He also posed barefoot in maternity photos during his wife's pregnancy with Lilibet in February – and he was slammed for having 'dirty feet.'

Some social media users called for him to "buy some shoes and put them away."

Happy Holidays – not Merry Christmas

  • Meghan getting dragged into Andrew case would be 'disastrous for royals', expert claims

In the message, the couple decided not to use the word Christmas, instead opting for "happy holidays".

According to Grammarly, “Happy Holidays” is accepted as the most inclusive greeting during the festive season as a number of holidays including Christmas take place at this time of year.

While the royal family are a traditionally Christian family as the Queen in the Church of England, they would usually use Merry Christmas.

Just days ago, Kate Middleton sent love to those struggling this festive season, signing off the message with "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year."

The message could be seen as part of the couple's 'woke activism' which they have been criticised for over the last year.

Charity donations

  • Kate willing to forgive Harry and Meghan but William ‘struggling with so many things’

Meghan and Harry also used the card to pay homage to the charities the couple work with.

The message added: "In your honour, Archewell has made donations this year to several organisations working tirelessly to uplift families around the world."

In May, royal biographer Angela Levin fears the pressure of Harry's activism and celebrity status was too much for him.

She tweeted: "How dreadful if Harry constantly thinks that he will lose Meghan like he did Diana and blames racism.

"Plus can’t get rid of M’s threat to … suicide. His life sounds too much for him and he should back away from being a woke lecturing celebrity."
