The siblings of Plymouth mass shooter Jake Davison are "heartbroken" and in "devastation" after their sibling killed five people including their mum Maxine.

Davison shot dead five people in the bloodbath, including a three-year-old girl, before shooting himself.

It was the UK's most deadly mass shooting for a decade.

A friend of Davison's sister reported she has relied on boyfriend Shane for emotional support in the wake of her late brother's cruel act, the Mail Online reports.

The pal said: "She is heartbroken, her brother has not only shot and killed their mother but then taken his own life and if that isn't bad enough is responsible for killing four innocent people, including a little three-year-old girl.

"She's lost two members of her family and needs time to grieve, which is difficult because she's had so many people knocking at her house.

"She's had to move away temporarily. When I saw her, she looked so shocked still and really tired and withdrawn.

"You can see the effect this horrific incident has had on her.

"The one positive thing is that she isn't alone, she has her boyfriend Shane who has been looking after her and providing a shoulder to cry on.

"He's been a tower of strength."

Davison's older brother shared a moving tribute to his mum Maxine, changing his Facebook profile pic to a poignant image of him and his mum.

Maxine, 51, was Davison's first victim on Thursday night.

The shooter then murdered 43-year-old Lee Martyn and his toddler daughter Sophie, 3, before killing Stephen Washington, 59, and 66-year-old Kate Shepherd.

Terrifying new footage shows Davison moving from one kill site to another.

A dashcam picked up the 22-year-old crouching over one victim's body before he moves on to kill again.

Plymouth residents were reported to be scared to leave their own homes, horrified by the UK's worst mass shooting in 10 years.

Cops are also being investigated for returning Davison's murder weapon to the vile killer weeks before the killings.

Authorities have turned their focus on Davison's incel views, with police vowing to keep a closer eye on an emerging terrorist threat.

The incel movement refers to people who are involuntarily celibate.
